SHAH ALAM – Maahad Tahfiz Al-Fateh achieved outstanding success by winning two prestigious awards in the Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) Awards for 2023. The institution was named the Winner of the LZS Assistant Zakat Collector Internal Incentive Campaign in the Private Islamic Educational Institution (IPIS) category and also won the 2023 Best Commitment and Management Performance Award in the same category.
This recognition was awarded as an appreciation for Maahad Tahfiz Al-Fateh’s continuous efforts in supporting LZS’s mission to encourage zakat payment within the community, especially at the educational institution level. This achievement also reflects the institution’s commitment to ensuring that the management and execution of duties as an LZS Assistant Zakat Collector are carried out efficiently and professionally.
The Manager of Maahad Tahfiz Al-Fateh, Ustaz Azzam Anwar, expressed his gratitude and pride over the achievement. “This award is the result of the collective effort of the entire Maahad Tahfiz Al-Fateh team, who have remained committed to fulfilling their responsibilities as Assistant Zakat Collectors. We are determined to continue strengthening our role in raising awareness about the importance of zakat,” he said.
In the category of Internal Incentive Campaign for Assistant Zakat Collectors, Maahad Tahfiz Al-Fateh successfully demonstrated creativity and effectiveness in designing campaigns that engaged with the community. Meanwhile, the Best Commitment and Management Performance Award recognized the institution's ability to manage the zakat collection and distribution process in a systematic manner.
The award was presented during a grand ceremony held at the LZS headquarters in Shah Alam, which was also attended by representatives from various institutions and organizations. This recognition further strengthens Maahad Tahfiz Al-Fateh's position as one of the leading private Islamic educational institutions in championing the Islamic social and economic agenda.
Through this recognition, Maahad Tahfiz Al-Fateh hopes to serve as an inspiration to other Islamic educational institutions to continue actively promoting zakat as an instrument for the development of the ummah.
