Petaling Jaya, 2 Disember 2024 – ZakatMalaysia.com terus memperkukuh jalinan kerjasama dengan syarikat pembayar zakat menerusi sesi kunjungan hormat ke Powernet Petroleum Sdn Bhd. Kunjungan ini bertujuan untuk mengukuhkan hubungan dengan pembayar zakat serta memperkenalkan Maahad Tahfiz Al-Fateh sebagai penolong amil yang berdaftar di bawah Lembaga Zakat Selangor.
The ZakatMalaysia.com delegation was led by Tuan Ts. Azril Hanafi, Manager of the Fund and Zakat Department, and was warmly received by the Chief Executive Officer of Powernet Petroleum Sdn Bhd, Puan Nor Khaila Binti Khalid. During the meeting, both parties discussed the role of zakat in empowering the ummah’s economy and how strategic collaboration can enhance the effectiveness of zakat distribution to those in need.
As a company committed to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, Powernet Petroleum Sdn Bhd expressed its willingness to continue channeling business zakat through a more systematic and transparent platform. Puan Nor Khaila emphasized that the company greatly appreciates the initiative by ZakatMalaysia.com in providing online zakat payment facilities as well as an interactive platform that facilitates communication between zakat payers and zakat institutions.
In addition, the visit also provided an opportunity to introduce Maahad Tahfiz Al-Fateh as one of the institutions recognized as an assistant zakat collector (penolong amil) under the Selangor Zakat Board. The role of Maahad Tahfiz Al-Fateh in assisting with local zakat collection was also discussed, further strengthening a more organized and effective zakat ecosystem.
Menurut Tuan Ts. Azril Hanafi, ZakatMalaysia.com sentiasa berusaha untuk memperluaskan jaringan kerjasama dengan syarikat-syarikat korporat bagi memastikan sistem pembayaran zakat dapat dijalankan dengan lebih cekap dan memberi impak yang signifikan kepada penerima manfaat. “Kami percaya bahawa sinergi antara institusi zakat dan pihak korporat mampu mempertingkatkan lagi keberkesanan kutipan serta agihan zakat kepada golongan yang memerlukan,” katanya.
The visit concluded with a souvenir exchange session as a token of appreciation for Powernet Petroleum Sdn Bhd’s continued support in advancing the zakat agenda. Through such initiatives, it is hoped that more corporate companies will participate in strengthening the zakat system in Malaysia for the well-being of the ummah.
